Fighter Requirements
Volunteer Fire
Fighter - (Recruit)
must be 18 years of age
must have a KY driver's license
must have the use of a four-wheeled vehicle
must have liability auto insurance
must live within three miles of a fire house
must pass background investigation
must train six hours a month
Transfer Fire
Fighter - (Experienced)
Same requirements as above, but in order to skip Recruit School you
must have the following:
must have a minimum of 250 hours training
must pass entrance examination
must complete orientation program

Rd, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:30 p.m. If
